Victorian Energy Upgrade Scheme

In the last decade or so, Victorian homes have been slowly moving away from evaporative cooling and gased heating, as refrigeration heating and cooling have become more popular due to their safety, reliability, and energy efficiency. In January 2024, the Victorian Government began promoting the “Get Off Gas Scheme,” which aims to transition completely to renewable energy by 2050. To encourage this, our government is offering substantial rebates for premium split system installations that replace gas heating.
